DIFFERENT RAD MODELS Friday, November 20, 2009 1. The circuit board and software are all the same. Rev-C board. 2. First deliveries used software version 17B. That is a good version and data will be within specification. We are introducing a new version, 17C. The version 17C has some minor modifications for a more precise measure of the Case and Dome temperatures. Small correction numbers can be added during calibration.  3. The box that URI has uses four of the Impulse connectors (power, terminal, PSP, and PIR). In later models we have combined the Power and Serial into a single connector, so we can distinguish the following RAD models: RAD p/n 20-4 = four-connector version (original design) RAD p/n 20-3 = three connector version 4. The radiometer plates (20.1), pip mounts (20.2), and back plate (20.7) are now non-metallic delrin or Garolite for improved corrosion resistance and UV immunity. Grounding is more straightforward and improved. (Less chance for ground loops.)
